We are looking for an experienced and innovative AI Engineer/Developer to join our growing team, with a strong focus on delivering AI-driven solutions within Public Sector services. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about leveraging generative AI to enhance citizen-facing applications and internal government systems. You will play a key role in designing and refining prompts, training AI models, analyzing complex datasets, and collaborating with domain experts to build impactful, scalable solutions. Your expertise will help shape the future of AI in public services, improving efficiency, accessibility, and user experience across government platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prompt Design & Optimization: Develop, iterate, and fine-tune high-performing prompts to guide generative AI models effectively across various use cases in the public sector.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with AI researchers, data scientists, developers, and public sector experts to translate business requirements into intelligent, AI-powered solutions.
  • Data Analysis & Insight Extraction: Work with large-scale datasets from government systems to identify patterns and extract insights that inform prompt strategies and model behavior.
  • Model Training & Performance Tuning: Assist in the training, evaluation, and fine-tuning of AI models to ensure outputs meet quality standards and align with the specific needs of public sector projects.
  • Innovation & Documentation: Stay current with the latest developments in AI and natural language processing, while maintaining clear documentation on prompt strategies, model configurations, and implementation outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Educational Background: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Expertise in AI & NLP: Hands-on experience with generative AI models, natural language processing (NLP), and prompt engineering.
  • Public Sector Experience: Demonstrated experience working within government or public sector environments, with an understanding of industry-specific systems, compliance requirements, and user needs.
  • Programming & AI Frameworks: Proficiency in Python, with experience using frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar tools for building and deploying AI models.
  • Analytical Thinking: Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills, with the ability to turn complex datasets into actionable intelligence.
  • Team Collaboration: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary environment.
