Delivery Centric is seeking a highly skilled and strategic FinOps Consultant to help clients optimize their cloud investments across AWS, Azure, and GCP platforms. This role is ideal for someone with strong financial acumen and deep technical insight into cloud operations.
You will lead cloud cost optimization initiatives, drive financial accountability, and collaborate across engineering, finance, procurement, and operations to align cloud usage with business priorities. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute FinOps strategies to manage and reduce cloud costs in multi-cloud environments
- Analyze cloud usage patterns to identify inefficiencies, forecast trends, and recommend cost-saving measures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure cloud investments align with business objectives and budgets
- Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and financial models to provide actionable insights to stakeholders
- Implement cost allocation models using tagging, account structuring, and chargeback/showback mechanisms
- Promote cost awareness and financial accountability through training, governance, and process improvement
- Recommend and execute purchasing strategies such as Reserved Instances, Savings Plans, and Spot Instances
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for cloud expenditures
- Stay up-to-date on cloud pricing models, services, and FinOps best practices
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in cloud financial management, cost optimization, or cloud operations
- Strong knowledge of AWS, Azure, and GCP pricing structures and cloud economics
- Familiarity with FinOps principles and practices (FinOps certification preferred)
- Experience with cloud cost management tools such as AWS Cost Explorer, Azure Cost Management, CloudHealth, or Cloudability
- Proficiency in Excel and data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau
- Strong analytical thinking and financial modeling capabilities
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across technical and financial stakeholders
- Proven ability to foster collaboration and drive alignment across teams
