We are seeking a skilled AEM EDS Developer with strong expertise in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM 6.5 and above) and Edge Delivery Services (EDS). This role involves developing scalable components, templates, and workflows while integrating with both custom-built and third-party applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in AEMaaCS, content delivery optimization, and block-based architecture using EDS, ensuring seamless content distribution across multiple environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimize AEM components, templates, workflows, and content models.
- Design and manage integrations with custom and third-party systems to deliver business-critical functionality.
- Create and maintain reusable frameworks, components, and libraries for scalable solutions.
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, and technical partners to ensure alignment with business goals.
- Actively participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, code reviews, and retrospectives.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues across dev, test, and production AEMaaCS instances and Edge Delivery Services.
- Contribute to the full SDLC including architecture, development, testing, and deployment.
- Explore and implement cutting-edge frontend and UI technologies to improve AEM and EDS solutions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent professional experience).
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with AEM 6.5+ and Adobe Experience Manager as a Cloud Service (AEMaaCS).
- Strong knowledge of Edge Delivery Services, including block-based architecture, content fragments, and metadata management.
- Proficiency in Java, Apache Sling, OSGi, REST, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, JSON, AJAX, and jQuery.
- Experience authoring templates and content with Document-Based and Universal Editor.
- Hands-on experience with Git branching models, version control, and tools like Git Bash.
- Expertise in EDS technical architecture, including HTML fragment distribution, sitemap handling, and DAM asset management.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
