Job Overview:
We are seeking experienced AWS DevOps Engineers to join the Platforms Engineering team, supporting the design, delivery, and management of AWS platform technologies. The role focuses on Kubernetes, CI/CD, automation, observability, security, reliability, and continuous platform improvement within an enterprise environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Designing, building, and managing Kubernetes-based platform components on AWS, with a strong focus on Amazon EKS.
- Designing and improving CI/CD pipelines and developer workflows.
- Implementing best practices in observability, security, platform reliability, and cost optimisation.
- Collaborating closely with product and engineering teams to streamline delivery.
- Implementing automations to enhance platform efficiency and reliability.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve customer experience and operational processes.
- Assisting in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues as they arise.
- Participating in DevSecOps and SRE practices and contributing to the continuous improvement of platform engineering processes.
- Providing support and participating in an on-call rotation to ensure system reliability.
Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience in large-scale AWS platform engineering.
- Strong understanding of AWS cloud services, architecture, networking, and security.
- Proficiency in DevOps, platform engineering, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) practices.
- Experience in highly regulated enterprises with a focus on security and controls compliance.
- Familiarity with tools and technologies such as AWS EKS, ECS, GitHub Actions, Terraform, and Python.
- A passion for solving complex problems and driving engineering excellence.
