Delivery Centric is seeking a highly skilled Azure AI Architect to lead the design and delivery of advanced AI and Generative AI solutions across large enterprise and public-sector transformation programs. This role requires deep technical expertise in Azure AI, strong architectural leadership, and the ability to translate AI strategy into scalable, secure, and high-value business outcomes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to build intelligent, data-driven solutions powered by Azure AI Services, Azure OpenAI, Cognitive Search, and modern MLOps/LLMOps practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and implement enterprise-grade AI, GenAI, and cognitive solutions using Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Services, AI Search, Vector Databases, and AI Foundry.
- Lead AI strategy, solution roadmaps, and multi-year transformation programs aligned to customer goals.
- Design, deploy, fine-tune, and optimize generative AI models and large language models.
- Build and govern scalable AI and data pipelines using Python, PySpark, Azure ML, MLOps, and LLMOps frameworks.
- Provide architectural guidance, governance, and leadership to technical and delivery teams.
- Develop hybrid/on-cloud AI architectures with strong security, data governance, and compliance guardrails.
- Conduct workshops, training sessions, and enablement programs to help customers adopt AI capabilities.
- Collaborate with business, engineering, and data teams to ensure alignment on solution design and delivery.
- Produce architecture blueprints, design documents, technical presentations, and best-practice guidelines.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of IT experience, with 5+ years in Azure AI, cloud architecture, and data-driven engineering.
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure OpenAI, Azure AI Services, Cognitive Search, Vector Databases, Form Recognizer, and AI Foundry.
- Expertise in deploying, fine-tuning, and optimizing generative AI and LLM-based solutions.
- Proficiency in Python, PySpark, MLOps, LLMOps, and AI/ML development practices.
- Solid knowledge of machine learning, NLP, data engineering, and large-scale data processing.
- Strong understanding of Kubernetes, Git, CI/CD, and cloud-native solution delivery.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence technical and business decisions.
- Relevant Azure or AI certifications are highly desirable.
