We are seeking a seasoned Citrix Infrastructure Resilience Engineer with over 10 years of experience in designing, managing, and optimizing Citrix environments across hybrid cloud and on-premises architectures. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Citrix DaaS on Azure, CVAD 2203 LTSR on VMWare, and strong hands-on experience with Citrix NetScaler, App Layering, and Microsoft Intune. This role is key to ensuring the reliability, scalability, and security of enterprise-grade virtual desktop and application delivery environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Architect and manage Citrix environments on Azure (DaaS) and VMWare vSphere using CVAD 2203 LTSR.
- Design and support VDI deployments (fixed and random/multisession VDAs).
- Implement and manage Citrix App Layering (OS, Platform, and App layers).
- Administer and optimize Citrix NetScaler (VPX), including GSLB, SSL offloading, ICA proxy, and rewrite/responder policies.
- Integrate and maintain F5 BIG-IP load balancing in conjunction with Citrix ADC environments.
- Support application publishing, session policies, and secure user access control.
- Enforce lockdown and policy control via Ivanti Application Control.
- Configure and manage endpoint compliance through Microsoft Intune and GPOs.
- Oversee VMWare hosting infrastructure including VM networking, storage, template provisioning, and VM migrations.
- Develop PowerShell scripts to automate tasks across Citrix and Windows-based systems.
- Apply Citrix Workspace Environment Management (WEM) and MS Intune policies to enhance user experience and system compliance.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of technical experience in Citrix infrastructure design and management.
- Deep expertise in Citrix DaaS, CVAD 2203 LTSR, VMWare vSphere, and NetScaler ADC.
- Strong understanding of App Layering, F5 BIG-IP, and Citrix GSLB strategies.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Intune, Ivanti Application Control, and Group Policies.
- Skilled in scripting and automation using PowerShell.
- Excellent analytical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and a collaborative mindset.
- Proven experience in high-availability enterprise environments with security and performance focus.
