Delivery Centric is seeking an experienced EPM Functional Consultant – Planning Architect to provide functional leadership and solution design expertise across Oracle Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) Planning.
The role will focus on understanding business planning and budgeting requirements, translating them into scalable EPM solutions, and providing functional guidance across solution design, configuration, testing and implementation.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the functional design and architecture of Oracle EPM Planning solutions.
- Analyse business requirements across planning, budgeting, forecasting and financial reporting processes.
- Translate business requirements into functional solutions, application structures and planning models.
- Design and advise on dimensions, hierarchies, business rules, forms, workflows and planning processes.
- Develop functional design documentation, solution specifications and process flows.
- Work closely with finance and business stakeholders to understand requirements and recommend appropriate EPM solutions.
- Provide functional guidance during configuration, development, testing, UAT and deployment.
- Review and validate EPM solutions to ensure they meet business requirements and architectural standards.
- Support integration requirements between EPM Planning and other Oracle EPM, ERP and external systems.
- Assist with data mapping, validation and reconciliation activities.
- Support issue analysis, troubleshooting and resolution of functional issues.
- Provide knowledge transfer and functional guidance to project teams and stakeholders.
Primary Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with Oracle EPM Planning.
- Proven experience in EPM Planning solution design and functional architecture.
- Strong understanding of planning, budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Experience translating business requirements into EPM functional solutions.
- Strong knowledge of dimensions, hierarchies, forms, business rules and planning models.
- Experience across the full implementation lifecycle, including design, configuration, testing, UAT and deployment.
- Ability to work directly with business and finance stakeholders and provide functional recommendations.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
Relevant Secondary Skills
- Experience with Oracle Planning and Budgeting Cloud Service (PBCS) / Planning in Oracle Cloud EPM.
- Experience with Financials, Workforce, Projects or other Planning modules.
- Knowledge of Oracle EPM integrations and data movement.
- Experience with Smart View, Data Integration/Data Management and EPM Automate.
- Exposure to Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP and related financial processes.
- Experience preparing functional specifications, solution designs and implementation documentation.
- Previous experience working in large-scale or complex enterprise EPM environments.
