We are looking for an experienced and motivated Full stack Developer / Engineer with 3–5 years of hands-on experience to join our growing team in Auckland, New Zealand. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work across the full technology stack — from Java backend development to creating seamless React front-end interfaces — while contributing to the design, development, and enhancement of public-facing websites. You’ll collaborate with a skilled team to deliver high-quality solutions that integrate APIs, microservices, and content management systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust full-stack Java applications
- Build dynamic, responsive, and user-friendly React web pages
- Develop, integrate, and maintain APIs and microservices for scalable solutions
- Support content creation and delivery for public-facing websites
- Collaborate with teams using content management systems (CMS) such as Adobe or dotCMS
- Write, troubleshoot, and optimize basic SQL queries, preferably on Microsoft technologies
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation to ensure high-quality delivery
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of proven experience as a Full stack Developer or Engineer
- Strong Java development expertise across the full stack
- Solid understanding of React and modern front-end technologies
- Familiarity with APIs, RESTful services, and microservices architecture
- Experience with content management systems (CMS), ideally Adobe or dotCMS
- Basic to intermediate SQL skills, with a preference for Microsoft environments
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with a proactive mindset
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
