We are looking for a highly skilled Fullstack .NET Web API Developer to join our growing team in Sydney. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing scalable backend systems using .NET Core and C#, alongside proficiency in building modern front-end applications with React.js. This role demands hands-on experience with cloud-native development, particularly using AWS services, and the ability to architect robust, enterprise-grade applications. Prior exposure to the banking, cards, or payments domain is a significant plus.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable .NET Core Web APIs using C# for enterprise applications
• Build responsive front-end interfaces using React.js and scalable backend services with Node.js
• Lead solution architecture design aligning with business and technical goals
• Integrate AWS services including EC2, Lambda, RDS, S3, API Gateway, CloudWatch, MSK, and Fargate
• Drive third-party API integrations and internal microservices communication
• Implement complex data models and perform query optimization using SQL Server
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, contributing to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives
• Mentor junior developers, review code, and enforce best practices in coding, testing, and DevOps
• Ensure high-quality deployments through CI/CD pipelines and automated testing
• Leverage domain knowledge in banking or payment systems for functional alignment
Qualifications:
• 6+ years of experience in full-stack development with .NET Core, C#, and JavaScript
• Strong hands-on experience with React.js and Node.js
• Proven expertise in AWS ecosystem – EC2, Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, S3, CloudWatch, MSK, Fargate
• Solid experience with SQL Server – schema design, stored procedures, performance tuning
• Good understanding of microservices architecture and event-driven systems
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and DevOps tools like Git, CI/CD pipelines
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Prior experience in the banking, cards, or payments domain is a strong advantage
