We are seeking an experienced IntelliMatch Technical Consultant to lead the development and enhancement of reconciliation systems within a global financial services environment. This role requires strong expertise in FIS IntelliMatch, deep understanding of financial products (Fixed Income, Equities, Derivatives), and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams worldwide. The ideal candidate will drive the full software development lifecycle, ensuring robust reconciliation solutions that meet business and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as SME for the design and development of new reconciliation solutions on Intellimatch.
- Work closely with project teams to gather requirements and translate them into detailed technical specifications.
- Drive the complete software development lifecycle including build, testing (Unit/SIT), and deployment.
- Adhere to reconciliation development standards and ensure high-quality deliverables with comprehensive documentation.
- Collaborate with global stakeholders, technology teams, and external vendors to ensure successful delivery.
- Perform analytical reviews, root cause analysis, and debugging to resolve complex reconciliation issues.
- Enhance existing reconciliation processes to improve efficiency, scalability, and functionality for business users.
- Ensure compliance with IT controls, including service level management, cybersecurity, and change management practices.
Qualifications & Experience
- 10+ years of hands-on reconciliation development experience using FIS IntelliMatch or equivalent platforms.
- Strong technical expertise with SQL scripting, shell scripts, and debugging complex systems.
- In-depth business knowledge of financial instruments including Fixed Income, Equities, and Derivatives.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in IT engineering/development for business applications in financial services.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills with a track record of delivering high-quality solutions.
- Master’s degree in information technology or equivalent qualification.
- Experience with both Waterfall and Agile software development methodologies.
- Ability to analyze business and technical data using tools like Excel or Access.
- Exposure to IaaS platforms such as AWS and Azure.
- Vendor management and SLA-driven performance reporting experience.
