Delivery Centric is seeking a skilled Java + Autosys Developer with strong expertise in Core Java, Linux Shell Scripting, and enterprise job automation. This role focuses on developing and maintaining automation solutions, supporting batch processing environments, and optimizing application workflows across enterprise systems. You will collaborate with development, infrastructure, and business teams to deliver scalable, reliable, and high-performing automation solutions that support critical business operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, enhance, and automate solutions using Linux Shell Scripting to ensure reliability, efficiency, and performance across Unix/Linux environments.
- Design and maintain automation scripts for file processing, job orchestration, system monitoring, and application workflow management.
- Apply Core Java development skills to build, maintain, and enhance reusable components, utilities, and integration modules.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze business requirements, troubleshoot production issues, and deliver robust automation solutions.
- Work with Autosys to schedule, monitor, manage, and optimize enterprise batch jobs and workflow dependencies.
- Support system integrations and backend processing through efficient automation and scripting practices.
- Interact with databases to read, query, update, and extract data required for application and automation workflows.
- Ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to development best practices.
- Participate in application support, incident resolution, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain technical documentation, process workflows, and operational procedures.
Qualifications
- 5 to 8 years of experience in software development, automation, or application support environments.
- Strong hands-on expertise in Linux Shell Scripting, including automation, debugging, scheduling, and performance optimization.
- Proven experience in Core Java development with the ability to write clean, modular, and efficient code.
- Experience working with Autosys for enterprise job scheduling, monitoring, dependency management, and workflow automation.
- Strong understanding of Unix/Linux operating systems and scripting environments.
- Experience troubleshooting production issues and supporting mission-critical applications.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in collaborative, fast-paced environments.
Desirable Skills
- Basic understanding of database systems such as Oracle, SQL Server, or similar technologies, including queries, updates, and data extraction.
- Familiarity with financial services or BFSI workflows and batch automation patterns.
