Delivery Centric is seeking a Senior AWS Cloud & DevOps Engineer with strong hands-on experience in AWS, Terraform, Kubernetes and EKS. The role will focus on designing and managing scalable cloud infrastructure, infrastructure automation, container platforms and CI/CD environments. The successful candidate will also contribute to cloud optimisation, security, troubleshooting and the adoption of AI-assisted automation across DevOps workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy and manage scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Build, configure and maintain Kubernetes environments, with strong hands-on experience in Amazon EKS.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning, configuration management and application deployments.
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and DevOps automation.
- Monitor cloud infrastructure health, performance and availability, and implement improvements where required.
- Troubleshoot and provide operational support for cloud-native and Kubernetes environments.
- Work closely with development, DevOps and security teams to implement cloud and DevOps best practices.
- Contribute to cloud architecture, infrastructure and container platform design decisions.
- Implement networking, security, reliability and cost-optimisation best practices across AWS environments.
- Maintain technical documentation covering infrastructure, configurations, standards and operational procedures.
- Support occasional cloud projects and deployments in Microsoft Azure.
- Explore and implement AI-assisted automation for infrastructure and DevOps activities, including IaC generation, code review, security checks and pipeline automation.
Requirements
- 5+ years of professional experience in Cloud Engineering, DevOps or a similar role.
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS, particularly EC2, VPC, IAM, S3, CloudWatch and EKS.
- Strong experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Docker.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Scripting experience with Bash, Python or similar.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Azure and core cloud concepts.
- Strong understanding of cloud networking, security, availability and cost optimisation.
- Experience troubleshooting production cloud and Kubernetes environments.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with development, security and technical teams.
- Exposure to AI/LLM tooling, MCP or AI-assisted DevOps automation is highly desirable.
Preferred Qualifications
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect or equivalent AWS certification.
- Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) or equivalent Kubernetes experience.
- Microsoft Azure certification such as Azure Fundamentals.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK or AWS-native monitoring tools.
- Exposure to GitOps tools such as ArgoCD or Flux.
- Familiarity with AWS CloudFormation or other IaC technologies.
- Experience integrating AI/LLM tools into DevOps workflows.
- Experience building AI-assisted solutions for IaC generation, code review, security analysis or configuration management.
