Delivery Centric is seeking a highly skilled Network Security Specialist with deep expertise in Cisco Web Secure Access (Umbrella) to support and enhance our enterprise-level security architecture. In this role, you will lead the design, integration, and support of secure access solutions that protect cloud and on-premises environments across a hybrid workforce. You’ll play a critical part in enabling secure, policy-driven internet access while contributing to threat mitigation, compliance, and overall cybersecurity maturity. Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the SME for Cisco Umbrella, including DNS-layer security, SWG, CASB, and cloud-delivered firewalls.
- Design, deploy, and manage secure access policies aligned with business and compliance requirements.
- Integrate Umbrella with Cisco SecureX, AMP, ISE, and SIEM platforms for end-to-end visibility and control.
- Analyze web traffic and security logs to detect threats and support proactive incident response.
- Ensure secure internet access across hybrid, remote, and on-premise environments.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, SOPs, and security playbooks.
- Support internal teams with L3/L4 technical guidance and incident resolution.
- Contribute to audit preparation, compliance efforts, and continuous improvement of security frameworks.
- Stay updated on Cisco’s evolving product features, industry best practices, and threat intelligence.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of hands-on experience working with Cisco Umbrella / Web Secure Access.
- Strong knowledge of DNS-layer protection, secure web gateways, cloud firewalls, and CASB solutions.
- Practical experience integrating Cisco cloud security tools including SecureX, AMP, and ISE.
- Proficiency in core networking and security protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP/S, VPNs, proxies, firewall rules).
- Solid understanding of cloud access control, identity-based security, and policy enforcement.
- Demonstrated experience in threat detection, incident response, and log analysis.
- Prior exposure to large enterprise or managed service provider (MSP) environments.
- Familiarity with ITIL principles and best practices for security operations.
- Working knowledge of compliance and regulatory frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, Essential 8, and GDPR.
- Relevant certifications such as CCNP Security, CCIE Security, or equivalent are highly regarded.
