Delivery Centric is seeking a highly skilled Network Security Specialist with hands-on experience in Palo Alto firewall technologies to join our growing cybersecurity practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing network security infrastructures to protect enterprise systems and data. This role involves working on both on-premise and cloud environments, engaging in proactive threat detection, and contributing to the automation of security operations.

As a part of our security team, you’ll work alongside architects and engineers to build scalable, secure, and high-performance network environments that meet both technical and compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Configure, deploy, and manage Palo Alto firewalls, including Panorama and Strata Cloud Manager in complex environments.
  • Manage and troubleshoot IP routing protocols (BGP, OSPF) and VPN technologies to ensure reliable and secure network connectivity.
  • Monitor network traffic, analyze logs, and respond to threats using advanced security monitoring tools.
  • Support security assessments, compliance audits, and create detailed technical reports for stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with infrastructure, cloud, and DevSecOps teams to ensure integration of security controls across all environments.
  • Contribute to the development and refinement of security policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Where applicable, automate firewall operations and reporting tasks using Python, Ansible, or similar scripting tools.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in network security engineering with a specialization in Palo Alto firewalls.
  • Deep understanding of networking fundamentals, including routing, subnetting, and firewall rule management.
  • Proven expertise in VPN configuration, NAT rules, SSL decryption, and advanced threat prevention.
  • Experience working with network monitoring and log analysis tools.
  • Familiarity with security auditing, incident response, and compliance frameworks.
  • Exposure to cloud networking concepts, especially within AWS, is highly desirable.
  • Working knowledge of security automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python, Ansible) is a plus.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
