Delivery Centric is looking for an experienced Principal Azure Solution Architect (OpenAI) to lead the design and delivery of enterprise-scale AI and Generative AI solutions across a range of exciting transformation programs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and architect enterprise AI and Generative AI solutions on Microsoft Azure
- Lead the implementation of Azure AI services, including Azure OpenAI and Cognitive Services
- Design scalable cloud-native AI architectures using Azure and hybrid cloud environments
- Guide engineering teams on AI best practices, architecture patterns, and solution delivery
- Fine-tune and customise Large Language Models (LLMs) for enterprise use cases
- Design Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) solutions using vector databases and Azure AI Search
- Develop Prompt Engineering strategies to optimise AI model performance
- Work with large-scale structured and unstructured datasets
- Build AI-powered document processing solutions using Azure AI Document Intelligence (formerly Form Recognizer)
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate AI opportunities into enterprise solutions
- Deliver customer workshops, technical demonstrations, and AI enablement sessions
- Produce high-quality architecture documentation and executive solution presentations
Primary Skills:
- 10+ years’ experience in the IT Industry
- At least 5 years’ hands-on experience designing solutions on Microsoft Azure
- Proven experience architecting and delivering Generative AI and Azure AI solutions
- Strong knowledge of: Azure OpenAI Service, Prompt Engineering, Large Language Models (LLMs), Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), Azure AI Search (Cognitive Search), Vector Databases, Azure AI Document Intelligence (Form Recognizer)
- Experience deploying, fine-tuning, and optimising AI models
- Strong Python development skills
- Experience with PySpark and large-scale data processing
- Excellent stakeholder management and customer engagement skills
- Ability to lead technical teams and influence architecture decisions across enterprise programs

- Databricks and Mosaic AI
- AI governance, responsible AI, and model lifecycle management
- Experience designing secure enterprise AI platforms
