We are seeking an experienced Program Manager with deep expertise in the Utilities domain to lead large-scale transformation initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in Operational Technology (OT) and Information Technology (IT) program delivery, with a strong understanding of Energy Transition, AEMO compliance, and utilities operations such as transmission and distribution. This role is pivotal in driving strategic programs from concept through delivery, ensuring high-quality execution aligned with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of energy transition or compliance-based programs within the utilities sector.
  • Act as a single point of contact (SPOC) for program implementation teams, driving alignment and execution.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels, manage program planning, RAID logs, and resource allocation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, third-party vendors, and regulatory bodies to ensure successful delivery.
  • Define solution architecture and map business processes to technical implementation.
  • Provide strategic functional and technical direction to cross-functional implementation teams.
  • Monitor program milestones, manage risks, and drive issue resolution to ensure timely delivery.
  • Foster a culture of innovation, agility, and continuous improvement across all delivery streams.
  • Ensure adherence to industry standards, compliance requirements, and delivery best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 15 years of experience in consulting and implementation of large OT/IT programs, ideally within the utilities sector.
  • Strong background in package-based implementations and domain expertise in utilities, particularly in transmission and distribution.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Deep understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile delivery methodologies.
  • Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and communication skills across geographies.
  • Hands-on experience working with field teams, technical experts, and business users.
  • Familiarity with AEMO regulations, energy transition initiatives, and modern project management tools.
  • Ability to manage large-scale, fast-paced programs with cross-functional dependencies.
