Responsibilities:
- Data Modelling: Design and implement efficient data models to support business and analytical requirements, using Python
- Python Development: Develop scalable and maintainable Python solutions for data processing, transformation and manipulation
- Pandas Expertise: Use Pandas to analyse, clean, transform and manipulate large datasets
- PyData Ecosystem: Leverage relevant Python data libraries and tools to support data processing, analysis and visualization
- Collaboration: Work closely with data scientists, analysts and engineers to understand requirements and deliver effective data solutions
- Problem Solving: Analyse complex data-related problems and develop accurate, efficient and scalable solutions
Requirements:
- Strong hands-on experience with Python and its ecosystem
- Proven experience in data modelling and designing data structures to support business requirements
- Strong expertise in Pandas for data manipulation and analysis
- Familiarity with the PyData ecosystem and commonly used Python data-processing libraries
- Strong understanding of SQL and database concepts
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders
