Delivery Centric is seeking a Risk Systems Engineer to support the Risk Transfer & Allocation (RTA) platform within a banking and treasury environment. This role focuses on delivering model remediation, system enhancements, and policy-aligned changes while supporting interest rate and liquidity risk management processes. The ideal candidate will have strong SQL Server and T-SQL expertise, experience with ETL and data processing, and programming skills in Python, C#, or similar technologies.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the delivery of model remediation and enhancement initiatives for the Risk Transfer & Allocation (RTA) platform.
- Develop, maintain, and optimize SQL Server database solutions, including complex T-SQL stored procedures, views, and data processing workflows.
- Perform SQL query tuning, indexing, and execution plan analysis to improve system performance and reliability.
- Support ETL processes and data integration activities across RTA staging, EXT, and DBO schemas.
- Investigate and resolve data, application, and system issues within the RTA environment.
- Collaborate with business, treasury, risk, and technology teams to deliver effective solutions.
- Participate in requirements analysis, testing, deployment, and production support activities.
- Contribute to reconciliation, reporting, and data quality processes.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server and advanced T-SQL development.
- Expertise in stored procedures, database performance tuning, indexing strategies, and query optimization.
- Experience with ETL development, data integration, and relational database environments.
- Programming experience in Python, C#, .NET, or similar technologies.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Treasury systems, Risk Transfer platforms, or financial risk management applications.
- Understanding of interest rate risk, liquidity risk, or banking and treasury operations.
- Experience working within banking, financial services, or capital markets environments.
