We are looking for an experienced SAP FICO Consultant to join our team in Melbourne. This role requires an individual with extensive expertise in configuring and deploying SAP FICO modules, including General Ledger (GL), Banking, Accounts Payable (AP), Asset Accounting (AA), and Travel & Expense Management Systems (TEMS). The successful candidate will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality financial solutions while collaborating with business stakeholders to optimize and integrate SAP systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end design, configuration, testing, and deployment of SAP FICO modules, ensuring that all processes are streamlined and optimized.
  • Configure key areas such as General Ledger (GL), Banking, Accounts Payable (AP), Asset Accounting (AA), and Travel & Expense Management Systems (TEMS), with a focus on efficiency, accuracy, and seamless integration.
  • Work closely with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, translating them into detailed technical specifications and actionable solutions.
  • Provide hands-on support during integration and user acceptance testing to ensure smooth implementation and high-quality delivery.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues within SAP FICO modules, providing ongoing support to ensure systems run effectively post-implementation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Materials Management (MM), Sales and Distribution (SD), and Human Resources (HR), to ensure integrated business processes are properly configured and supported.
  • Provide comprehensive knowledge transfer and training to end users and junior consultants, empowering them to effectively use the system and manage day-to-day operations.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest SAP S/4HANA Finance innovations and industry best practices, ensuring that your skills and knowledge remain current.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 10 years of SAP FICO experience, including at least 3 full-cycle implementations, showcasing your ability to manage complex projects from start to finish.
  • Strong hands-on configuration experience in the core areas of SAP FICO, including General Ledger (GL), Banking, Accounts Payable (AP), Asset Accounting (AA), and Travel & Expense Management Systems (TEMS).
  • Familiarity with SAP S/4HANA Finance, particularly its key innovations such as Universal Journal and Central Finance, and an understanding of how they enhance business operations.
  • Proven ability to design, implement, and support scalable and integrated financial solutions that meet business needs.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • A collaborative approach, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and manage relationships with multiple stakeholders.
