Delivery Centric is seeking an experienced Senior Functional Consultant with 5+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle Insurance Policy Administration (OIPA) to support medium to large-scale insurance and financial services implementations. This role focuses on translating complex business requirements into scalable OIPA configurations and ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture and delivery standards. You will work across functional, technical, and business teams to drive successful solution delivery from design through deployment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the functional design and configuration of Oracle Insurance Policy Administration (OIPA) solutions based on business requirements.
- Collaborate with business analysts, solution architects, and technical teams to deliver end-to-end OIPA implementations.
- Translate complex insurance business requirements into scalable and maintainable OIPA configurations.
- Assist in identifying and resolving configuration, integration, and functional issues within OIPA implementations.
- Contribute to solution design quality and ensure adherence to implementation standards and best practices.
- Engage with internal teams and customer stakeholders to support solution adoption and alignment.
- Participate in project planning activities and contribute to successful delivery of business outcomes.
- Support testing, deployment, and post-implementation activities across the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5+ years of experience in software implementation, with at least 3+ years of hands-on experience in Oracle Insurance Policy Administration (OIPA).
- Strong proficiency in XML, SQL, and relational databases.
- Good understanding of OIPA architecture and insurance product configuration concepts.
- Experience across full software development lifecycle including requirements gathering, design, testing, and deployment.
- Proven experience in client-facing roles with stakeholder management and communication responsibilities.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working on insurance domain transformation or policy administration system implementations.
- Exposure to enterprise integration and insurance product modeling.
- Understanding of financial services or insurance industry processes and workflows.
