This role requires deep technical expertise across data centers, cloud platforms, LAN/WAN infrastructure, and SD-WAN technologies. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network migrations, system upgrades, and vendor assessments — coupled with the ability to document and communicate effectively with technical and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive High-Level Designs (HLD) and Low-Level Designs (LLD) for proposed network solutions
  • Execute enterprise-scale data center and cloud migration projects, ensuring minimal disruption and full compliance
  • Lead end-of-life (EOL) and end-of-support (EOS) hardware upgrades, covering routers, switches, access points, and wireless controllers
  • Troubleshoot and resolve advanced networking issues across CORE N/W, LAN, WLAN, and SD-WAN infrastructures
  • Create and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for deployment, operations, and support
  • Conduct risk assessments, impact analysis, and quality reviews of network strategies and implementation plans
  • Provide technical input on new vendor solutions, assisting with RFPs, evaluations, and procurement activities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure security, compliance, and alignment with business objectives
  • Support knowledge transfer and mentoring of junior engineers as needed

Qualifications:

  • 8–10+ years of experience in enterprise network engineering, infrastructure design, and deployment
  • Strong hands-on expertise with DC, LAN, WLAN, CORE N/W, and SD-WAN technologies
  • Demonstrated experience with NSX, network virtualization, and hybrid cloud integration
  • Proficient in using network performance tools, monitoring systems, and automation platforms
  • Knowledge of Azure, AWS, or other cloud platforms from a network integration perspective
  • Experience in technical documentation, change management, and structured delivery methodologies
  • Solid understanding of DevOps practices and modern IT operations
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with experience working in customer-facing roles
  • Certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, or equivalent are highly desirable
