Delivery Centric is looking for a skilled and experienced Solution Architect with a deep understanding of Wealth and Asset Management to join our team in Sydney. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a strategic, hands-on leadership position, bringing expertise in solution design and the ability to bridge the gap between business requirements and technical execution. You will play an instrumental role in architecting scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions for complex, enterprise-level environments within the financial services industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the architecture and design of wealth management platforms, ensuring alignment with both business objectives and industry best practices.
- Collaborate closely with key stakeholders to gather detailed business requirements, ensuring these are accurately translated into scalable, efficient architectural designs that meet the needs of the organization.
- Design and implement comprehensive, end-to-end solutions using .NET technologies, with a focus on system performance, security, and scalability.
- Provide architectural direction, technical leadership, and mentoring to development teams throughout the full project lifecycle, from planning through to delivery.
- Oversee compliance with regulatory standards, data privacy regulations, and financial services industry requirements to ensure all solutions meet industry standards and legal obligations.
- Contribute to the strategic development of technology roadmaps, continuously evaluating new tools and technologies to drive ongoing innovation and improvement within the organization.
- Facilitate design workshops, conduct technical reviews, and deliver presentations to stakeholders, ensuring clear communication and alignment on technical decisions and approaches.
- Manage multiple concurrent projects, balancing competing priorities, timelines, and business needs.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Solution Architect within the Wealth Management or Asset Management domain, with a track record of designing and delivering complex financial services solutions.
- A comprehensive understanding of investment platforms, client onboarding processes, portfolio management, and the regulatory compliance landscape within the financial services sector.
- Hands-on expertise in .NET development frameworks and Microsoft technologies, with a solid foundation in technical architecture and solution design.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and ensure cross-functional understanding.
- Experience working in agile delivery environments, with a strong ability to solve complex problems and a proactive, analytical mindset.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Strong leadership and collaborative skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and external vendors.
