We are seeking a Technical Business Analyst with a strong foundation in API integrations, DevOps workflows, and cloud-based technologies—particularly within Azure. Key Responsibilities
- Gather and document API and integration-specific requirements from business stakeholders.
- Create clear, testable user stories and define acceptance criteria using Jira or Azure Boards.
- Work closely with developers and testers to ensure accurate implementation of business needs.
- Support sprint planning, backlog grooming, and release planning activities.
- Utilize tools like Postman and Swagger to validate APIs and ensure compliance with standards.
- Perform data validation using SQL queries and assist in generating reports.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to understand CI/CD pipelines, Azure API Management, and Logic Apps.
- Monitor and resolve integration-related issues using tools such as Azure Monitor and App Insights.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on API-centric environments.
- Proficiency in RESTful APIs, HTTP status codes, JSON, XML, and API versioning.
- Experience using Postman, Swagger (OpenAPI), and API documentation tools.
- Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, including Pipelines and Boards.
- Strong understanding of API security (OAuth, API keys), throttling, and rate limiting.
- Ability to write and interpret SQL queries for data validation.
- Familiarity with Azure services such as APIM, Function Apps, Logic Apps, and Service Bus.
- Awareness of DevOps practices, infrastructure-as-code, containers (Docker), and microservices.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both business and technical teams.
