We are seeking a Technical Recruiter to join our internal team in Melbourne and help drive our IT recruitment efforts. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing, screening, and securing top technical talent while building a strong pipeline of skilled professionals. Your expertise in IT recruitment will ensure we attract and retain the best talent to support our company’s growth and success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Write and post technical job descriptions across various platforms.
- Source and engage potential candidates through niche job boards, LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean searches, and online networking.
- Review and screen IT resumes, assessing specialized technical skills and qualifications.
- Conduct pre-screening calls and structured interviews, including technical and behavioral assessments.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with passive candidates to create a reliable talent pipeline.
- Promote our employer brand, participate in tech events, and expand our professional network.
- Stay updated with the latest technology trends and recruitment best practices to improve hiring strategies.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Technical Recruiter or in IT recruitment.
- Strong understanding of IT roles, technologies, and industry trends.
- Hands-on experience with various interview formats (phone, video, structured).
- Expertise in sourcing techniques, including LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search, and social media recruitment.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills to engage with both candidates and stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, IT, or a related field (preferred).
